Why the fuck do I bother with friends anyway.

well after a week and a half I finally found out why a friend of mine has dropped off the face of the earth. he is in Bristol for a big training project, he says he will try and keep in contact. I haven't really stopped crying. this is a guy I love talking with. Said he sent an email. I haven't got it. says he'll try to keep in contact. I feel like I am dumped like he is saying I dunno when I am coming back (Shall I take that as if?) I just feel miserable.
